1. What is Sweet Home and how does it work for residential societies?

expand_more
Sweet Home is an intelligent residential management ecosystem designed to modernize community living. It connects residents, management committee members, facility teams, and security guards into a unified, secure mobile hub. Sweet Home automates entry authorization, amenity scheduling, and official communications—delivering a refined, concierge-grade living experience without administrative overhead.

2. How many apps does Sweet Home offer?

expand_more
Sweet Home offers two dedicated apps to support smooth society operations: Sweet Home, designed for residents, and Sweet Home Security, designed for security guards.

3. Can I use both Sweet Home apps?

expand_more
No. A mobile number registered with either Sweet Home app cannot be used to create another account on the other Sweet Home app.

4. Can I log in to Sweet Home on multiple devices?

expand_more
To keep your account secure, Sweet Home supports one active device session at a time. When you log in on a new device, your previous session will be automatically expired and logged out.

5. Who can create a society on Sweet Home?

expand_more
An authorised society representative, such as the Chairman or Secretary, can submit a society creation request. Please enter the society details carefully, as the information provided during society creation determines its basic structure and may not be editable later.

6. What documents are required to submit a society creation request on Sweet Home?

expand_more
You can submit either your society registration details or another valid identification document specified in the society creation form.

7. How can I join my society on Sweet Home?

expand_more
You can get your society code from your Society Admin or another resident. After entering the code, you can select your property and submit a request to join the society. If you are the property owner, you will receive access to the society portal after your property-joining request is approved by the Society Admin.

Resident Privacy & Emergency

Privacy controls, phone number protection, data security, and emergency services

8. How does Sweet Home protect resident's privacy?

expand_more
Privacy is at the core of Sweet Home. Your personal mobile number is not visible to other society members or appointed security guards. The exception is when you hold a designated key position, such as a Society Admin, where your contact information may need to be accessible for society operations.

9. Does Sweet Home provide any features to help residents during an emergency?

expand_more
Yes. Residents of a gated housing community can access and share emergency contact numbers through the society directory. Sweet Home also provides an SOS feature that can send an immediate alert to security guards currently on duty and selected Society Admins during an emergency.

10. Who can see my profile information?

expand_more
Your saved profile information in the society member directory can be viewed by other society members, but security guards do not have access to your complete profile information.
03

Visitor Access & Management

Visitor pre-approval, visitor history, regular visitors, domestic staff, and visitor privacy

11. How does the visitor approval process work?

expand_more
When a visitor arrives at your society gate, an active security guard can send a visitor approval request to your property. You can approve or reject the request from the app. Depending on the society's rules, security guards may also allow entry when no response is received from the resident.

12. Can I inform the security guard about an expected visitor in advance?

expand_more
Yes. Sweet Home provides a Pre-Approval feature that allows residents to inform the security team about expected visitors in advance. This can make the visitor check-in process quicker and smoother.

13. What happens if I accidentally approve the wrong visitor request?

expand_more
You can mark a visitor entry as a wrong entry from your property's visitor list, as long as the visitor has not yet been checked out.

14. Who can access the visitor history of my property?

expand_more
Members associated with your property can view visitor details recorded for that property. In addition, appointed security guards have access to visitor records at the society level as part of their visitor management and record-keeping responsibilities.

15. How does Sweet Home protect visitor's privacy?

expand_more
Once a visitor check-in is completed, security guards do not have access to the visitor's personal mobile number. Sweet Home is designed to limit access to personal information while still allowing security teams to manage visitor entries effectively.

16. What happens to my visitor, helper, vehicle, and pet records if I rent out my property to a tenant?

expand_more
When a property is occupied by a tenant, personal records previously saved by the property owner, such as visitors, helpers, vehicles, and pets, are not made visible to the tenant. Similarly, when the tenant leaves the property, their personal records are removed from the property to help protect their privacy.

17. How can I manage regular visitors, such as domestic helpers or house staff?

expand_more
You can add regular helpers through My Daily Helper. Once a helper is registered, security guards do not need to request approval from your property for every visit. Their attendance is automatically recorded when the security guard checks them in.

18. What happens when I visit a society that uses Sweet Home? Is visitor entry easier?

expand_more
Yes. Every Sweet Home user receives a personal QR code when their account is created. You can show your QR code to the security guard at the society gate, allowing your visitor details to be captured more quickly.

Society Management & Governance

Society complaints, documents, discussions, meetings, and administrative responsibilities

19. How can residents track the status of a complaint they have raised?

expand_more
Whenever there is progress on your complaint or an action is taken by the concerned authority, you will receive an update notification through Sweet Home.

20. Can every resident access all society documents?

expand_more
No. Access to society documents depends on the resident's role and the permissions provided by the society's administrative authority. For example, certain documents may be available only to property owners who have been granted access.

21. Can all residents participate in society discussions and online meetings?

expand_more
Participation depends on the role and permissions assigned by the society administration. Certain discussions, groups, or online meetings may be limited to specific categories of residents or property owners.
05

Leave Property & Delete Account

Leaving a property, moving to another society, account deletion, data removal, and account recovery

22. What happens to my data when I leave a property or move to another society?

expand_more
When you leave a property, your non-essential personal and property-related data that is no longer required for the smooth management of society activities will be removed from the property.

23. Can a resident who is an active Society Admin leave the property or delete their account?

expand_more
Not while they continue to hold an active Society Admin designation. Before leaving the property or deleting their account, the Society Admin must hand over the administrative responsibility to an appropriate resident to ensure that society operations continue smoothly.

24. What happens to my data when I delete my account as a resident?

expand_more
When you delete your account, you will be removed from your associated properties. This may affect other members associated with the property if you hold an important role, such as property owner or registered tenant. Your account information and personal locker files will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

25. What happens when a security guard deletes their account?

expand_more
A security guard can delete their account only when they are not currently assigned to duty at any society. To ensure uninterrupted society operations, the security guard must first request the concerned society authority to remove them from active duty. After the account is deleted, the security guard's account information and personal locker files will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
